Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of digital healthcare? We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the Cornwall IT Services (CITS) programme team. Working with colleagues across the Trust and the wider system in Cornwall, you will be responsible for leading Digital initiatives that support the Digital strategy, delivering change and innovation to support the delivery of care to our patients.
- Successful management and delivery of projects within the Cornwall Health Community, each up to the value of £2 million.
- Successful management and integration of projects that may form part of national programmes of work.
- Management, co-ordination and motivation of a multi-disciplinary project team of 5 – 35 staff, including clinicians, nursing staff, support staff, voluntary workers, suppliers, IT experts, and contractors.
- The Senior Project Manager supports the Digital Programme Manager in delivery of Trust’s Digital Strategy Programme.
- Provides project management and leadership for IT/Systems development/change projects across the Trust, ensuring that key target dates and standards are met.
- Reports to the Digital Programme Manager and will have responsibility for specific projects and project budgets as delegated by the Digital Programme Manager.
- Shares best practice and acts as mentor to junior/temporary Project Managers/Project Support Officers and also provides advice to 3rd party project managers engaged in Trust project work, as to the project delivery standards and methodology used within the Trust.
- Engages effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both within and outside of the Trust, securing involvement in and commitment to the project.
