Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics and Neonatology
In neonates, you will be responsible for attending deliveries, acute admissions on our unit and their management as well as examination of new-borns on the post-natal ward. There are opportunities to sit in on both baby clinics and joint specialist clinics to gain out-patient experience. The clinical duties are shared between the nine first on call staff and are rotated on a regular basis. In paediatrics, the clinical duties are shared between the ten first on call staff and are rotated on a regular basis. You will be responsible for acute admissions to the childrens unit and their management with close senior supervision.
