What you’ll be doing
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, safety, and upkeep of our 24-bed nursing home in Blackwood, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our the people we support staff, and visitors.

Build positive relationships with service managers and provide regular maintenance updates.
Lead and support a team of up to five maintenance assistants, promoting high performance and development.
Ensure the home, grounds, and facilities are maintained to a high standard, including minor electrical, plumbing, and decorating work.
Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance and support project work as required.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with risk assessments and health and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate records on the CAFM system.
Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
Support statutory compliance, obtaining required approvals before works commence.
Seek specialist advice where needed to meet legal and best practice standards.
Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives.
Participate in the on-call rota for emergency maintenance.
Follow company policies and escalated issues when appropriate.
