Tesco Pharmacy Dispenser pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25.

Some locations may offer additional payments.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts.

  • You will be responsible for
  • Supporting the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.
  • Accurately dispense prescription medicines with strong attention to detail and customer care.
  • Providing friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines, common ailments, and available pharmacy services.
  • Understanding customer needs and recommend suitable products responsibly.
  • Handle queries within competence and elevate when needed.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.
  • Support promotional activities and company initiatives.
  • You will need
  • Experience or qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
  • A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field
  • A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right products and solutions.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and reassured, having had a great experience at the Pharmacy counter.
  • The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you're supporting them with over-the-counter product guidance, helping with prescription queries, or knowing when to refer them to the pharmacist for expert advice.
