The role
Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you'll become part of an experienced production team responsible for assembling, inspecting and testing a range of high-quality electronic products.
You'll play an important role in ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards before being supplied to customers across the globe.
This is a varied, hands‑on role that combines electrical assembly, PCB soldering, quality inspection and basic electronic testing, offering the opportunity to develop your technical skills within a supportive engineering environment.
Key responsibilities
• As an Electrical Assembly Technician, your duties will include
- Assembling electronic products, PCB assemblies and power boards from engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical assembly, including wiring, component installation and hardware fitting.
- Soldering and de‑soldering electronic components using through‑hole techniques and, where applicable, surface mount (SMT) methods.
- Completing minor PCB modifications and component replacement.
- Applying conformal coatings to PCB assemblies in line with manufacturing procedures.
- Carrying out visual inspections to ensure assemblies meet strict quality standards.
- Performing basic electrical testing using digital multimeters, power supplies and other electronic test equipment.
- Identifying assembly faults and supporting production and engineering teams with troubleshooting activities.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
