We are seeking a Project Coordinator / CAD Technician to support project delivery activities, maintain technical documentation, and assist with the coordination of contractors and enabling works. This role combines project coordination responsibilities with AutoCAD drawing management and technical administration within a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an organised and technically capable individual who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and support project managers by ensuring works are completed to the required standards, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with financial and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contractor access and ensure contractors are signed in appropriately.
  • Assess and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
  • Support and coordinate enabling works activities.
  • Verify that works are completed to the required standards and report outcomes to the Lifecycle Manager.
  • Assist with financial reporting, budget tracking, project management reporting, and five-year plan activities.
  • Create, update, amend, and maintain AutoCAD drawings, including floor layouts and site drawings.
  • Maintain project documentation, asset maintenance records, and engineering documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, track actions, and liaise with multiple stakeholders.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Project Managers or project teams.
  • Technical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Business, or Project Management).
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of AutoCAD, including drawing creation and amendments.
  • Experience using engineering document management systems.
  • Experience in an engineering, construction, building services, infrastructure, manufacturing, or technical environment.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations, Healthcare Technical Memorandum, and planning and building processes.
  • Experience maintaining project and asset maintenance documentation and records.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and tracking actions.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of financial procedures and reporting.
  • Good numeracy skills with the ability to understand and assist with budgets.
  • Qualification and working knowledge of CDM Regulations and Permit to Work (PTW) processes.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
  • Ability to anticipate and address potential risks and issues in a rapidly changing environment.
