As schools begin preparing for September, I am recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools throughout South Birmingham and Solihull. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, looking to return to education after a break, or seeking a new challenge in a different school setting, I have a range of opportunities available to suit your experience, preferences and availability.
Working with Hays Education, you'll gain access to roles in welcoming and supportive schools where you can make a real difference to children's learning and development from the very start of the academic year.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences and provide additional support where required.

You will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their potential while supporting their social, emotional and academic development.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or within a school setting
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, CACHE, NVQ or equivalent is desirable
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be advantageous
- A genuine passion for helping children learn and succeed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible, positive and proactive approach
