Teaching Assistant - September 2026 - B13

Hays Education is supporting friendly primary schools across Moseley and the wider B13 area as they prepare for the new academic year.
We are looking for caring, dependable Teaching Assistants who can become a valued part of school life from September 2026.
You may already have classroom experience, or you might be looking to build on your work with children in another setting.
Either way, if you are patient, positive and keen to help pupils thrive, this could be the next step for you.
Your new role
You will work alongside the class teacher to help pupils feel supported, included and ready to learn. Your day may involve:
- Supporting learning and classroom activities across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Guiding small groups through focused tasks
- Offering individual support to pupils who need extra encouragement
- Helping children develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits
- Contributing to a calm, welcoming and inclusive classroom
- Supporting classroom organisation and everyday routines
Full-time and part-time options are available, including long-term assignments and roles with the potential to become permanent.
- What you'll need to succeed
- Have supported children in a school, nursery, childcare, youth work or similar setting
- Genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow and feel confident
- Communicate well and work positively as part of a team
- Be dependable, flexible and ready to use your initiative
- Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting teaching & learning, CACHE, NVQ or equivalent qualification
