The Driver will provide safe, reliable and person-centered transport for individuals accessing Focus Birmingham’s services.

Based in Harborne, you will transport passengers to and from appointments, activities and community settings, ensuring each journey is comfortable, timely and supportive of individual needs.

You will be responsible for supporting individuals in and out of the vehicle where required, ensuring their safety at all times and delivering a positive, respectful experience.

This includes adapting your approach to meet the needs of people with disabilities, including those living with sight loss and complex needs.

As part of the Transport team, you will carry out routine vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and report any defects or incidents promptly.

You will also maintain accurate records relating to journeys and vehicle use, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and road safety regulations.

Working closely with colleagues, families and service users, you will help ensure a smooth and supportive transport service.
