Locum General and Paediatric Radiology Consultant

Key Responsibilities are to: * Provide consultant-level paediatric radiology services, including reporting of paediatric radiographs, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and MRI examinations. * Support neonatal, inpatient, outpatient and emergency paediatric imaging pathways, working closely with paediatricians, neonatologists, paediatric surgeons and safeguarding teams. * Participate in non-accidental injury (NAI) imaging pathways and provide specialist paediatric radiology input to multidisciplinary teams. * Contribute fully to the adult general radiology service, including acute cross-sectional imaging, ultrasound, duty radiologist activities and MDT participation. * Participate in the general radiology consultant on-call rota (currently approximately 1 in 24 - 26), providing support for both adult and paediatric emergency imaging services. * Contribute to teaching, audit, governance, quality improvement and service development activities. We welcome applications from candidates who: * Hold GMC registration with a licence to practise. * Hold FRCR (or equivalent) and CCT in Clinical Radiology (or equivalent specialist accreditation). * Have specialist training and experience in Paediatric Radiology. * Are competent in acute adult general radiology and willing to participate fully in adult duty and on-call commitments. * Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills. * Are committed to high-quality patient care, education and continuous professional development.
