Equans is looking for a Lifecycle Project Site Supervisor to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Manage the site delivery of capital works and lifecycle projects as part of the project delivery team at the QEH.
  • Support the project manager to manage site H&S, site management, snagging and handover of every project, as required, including the monitoring of a team of Trade Operatives and Sub-Contractors.
  • Responsible for the supervision of sub-contractors delivering a wide range of project works.
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources and that job planning, appointments, materials, plant and equipment are effectively utilised and continuously improved in accordance with service delivery targets.
  • Manage health & safety on all projects and the necessary completion, snagging and handover of all projects.
  • Manage Quality Control through a structured monitoring process and auditing.
  • Liaise with the client on both a formal and informal basis.
  • Apply for all licences, permits etc. and ensure they are in place to execute the works correctly.

Who are you?

  • Experience of construction areas and relevant knowledge of building legislation and building and construction projects.
  • Strong ICT skills.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Experience of managing specialist sub-contract supply chains.
  • Excellent understanding and adherence to SHEQ practices.
  • Up to date relevant knowledge and experience of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Microsoft Office or other relevant IT related qualification (Desirable).
  • SSSTS (Desirable).
  • IOSH (Desirable).
  • Driving licence.
  • This role includes a DBS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
