The Council is seeking an experienced Solicitor - Childcare to join their busy Safeguarding and Education Legal Team on an interim basis. You will handle a varied caseload across childcare law, provide expert advice to Social Care teams, officers, and elected Members, and represent the Council in childcare proceedings.
Key duties include:
- Managing childcare proceedings
- Advising on safeguarding matters
- Attending court hearings up to three days per week
- Delivering training to Social Workers
