Hours: Monday to Friday, working hours from 9.00am to 5.30pm (Flexibility required)

MBO Safety Services is a health and safety training and consultancy company, covering all areas nationwide. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate health and safety professional to join our team as a Trainer.

Your role as a Trainer will be to deliver IOSH, CITB, UKATA, First Aid, NEBOSH including general health and safety courses. To be successful in this role, you will need a desire to bring out the best in others and help them, together with wanting to continually challenge yourself by training for new qualifications.

You will be delivering training at customer premises or via Teams to groups and will be expected to deliver high quality and professional sessions. You will deliver in-line with MBO Safety Services guidelines to ensure compliance with the accredited bodies together with the company standards. Training can also be completed at one of our offices in Birmingham, Oswestry or Manchester when/as required.

Must haves to apply for this role:

  • Achieved TechIOSH status and continuing with personal development
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the health and safety industry
  • A minimum of 2 years’ training experience within the health and safety with a track record of delivering bespoke/general health and safety courses, such as Fire Warden, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Work at Height, DSE courses but not limited.
  • A recognised adult training qualification minimum (Level 3 PTLLS, Level 3 Award in Education (AET))
  • A passion to deliver IOSH, CITB, UKATA, First Aid and NEBOSH courses.
  • Excellent IT skills and use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Emergency First Aid at Work Instructor Qualification, proven annual requalification in date and maintained.
  • Experience in the construction industry along with holding a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Qualification.
  • Fire Safety Qualifications in NEBOSH.

  • Deliver high quality engaging training that is planned and personalised to meet the needs of the learners
  • Accurate completion of all required documentation including obtaining feedback from learners to assess the effectiveness of training
  • Provide learners with continued evaluation, support, and coaching at all times
  • Commitment to keeping up to date with any industry changes or updates including regulations
  • Commitment in maintaining your current status in qualifications by continuing with your personal development
  • Commitment to developing your personal skillset by studying for new qualifications
  • Developing new training materials and resources, always looking at continuous improvements
