As a Health and Fitness Coach, you’ll play an important role in helping people improve their health, build confidence and achieve their fitness goals. Your work has purpose and creates a positive impact on communities.

What you’ll do as a Health and Fitness Coach:

  • Deliver health and fitness programmes that support members and casual users in achieving their goals safely and effectively.
  • Conduct fitness assessments, including body composition, cardiovascular and strength-based evaluations, and use outcomes to develop tailored programmes.
  • Support the successful onboarding of new members, helping them understand the facilities, services and programmes available to them.
  • Deliver group fitness classes, small group training sessions and personal training services, motivating participants to achieve long-term results.
  • Monitor member progress, review attendance and engagement, and provide encouragement, coaching and programme adjustments where needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming gym environment while delivering excellent customer service and building trust with members.

Does this sound like you?

  • Hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification as a minimum requirement.
  • Hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification or be willing to work towards achieving this within your first 12 months of employment.
  • Have a strong understanding of health and fitness principles and the ability to guide individuals through structured programmes.
  • Enjoy building positive relationships and communicating confidently with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
