Partnering Health Limited has a brand new, exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join the newly mobilised service based in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. You will join us on a full time or part time, permanent basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary.
Contracts available: Part-time or Full-time (40 hrs p/w)
Positions available: 3+
Hours to be covered: 10am - 10:30pm Mon to Sun
About the General Practitioner role:
As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the post holder will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. They will also provide a highly specialist resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in Clinical Governance Effectiveness activities.
General Practitioner Skills & Experience:
- Provide appropriate medical leadership
- Provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and levels of health care needs
- Maintain clinical records either written or computer based in line with professional code and requirements utilising appropriate READ coding and other coding systems
- Liaise with all relevant agencies and services to promote knowledge and awareness of the Service
- Provide appropriate health education and advice to patients and carers to enable self-management and choice
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and the entire team to ensure that effective clinical governance is incorporated in the day-to-day practice in the Medical Service
- Develop and maintain high levels of communication with patients and carers ensuring effective care delivery
General Practitioner (GP) Skills & Experience:
- An experienced doctor with GP accreditation
- Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice)
- Experience of working in urgent care environment such as A&E, Walk in centres
- Record of ongoing CPD and learning
- MRCGP examination or equivalent experience
- Sound knowledge of clinical governance
- Evidence of ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care
- Evidence of ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively
