We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice to join our growing team.
Gain real-world business experience, build essential professional skills, and work towards a nationally recognised Business Administration qualification through this exciting opportunity.
The successful candidate will work closely with our office team, learning all aspects of business administration and customer service within a busy showroom and office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers into the showroom and providing a friendly first point of contact.
- Assisting with customer enquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
- Managing incoming and outgoing emails.
- Booking appointments for surveyors and fitters.
- Generating invoices and processing customer information.
- Taking customer payments over the phone.
- Accurately entering customer orders and measurements onto the company's computer system.
- Supporting the day-to-day administration of the business.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
- Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Flexibility to work up to 2 Saturdays per month (9:00am - 5:00pm) when required
- Time off in lieu provided where applicable

- Mon- Fri 9am -5pm (5 Days) a week with a potential 2 weekends every month
Qualifications Required
- Maths and English GCSE's @ Grade 4
- Personal Qualities
- Friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confident speaking to customers face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and organised.
Skills Required
- Basic IT skills and confidence using computers.
- Good numerical ability and understanding of measurements.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to work as part of a small team.
- Previous customer service experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by the employer.
They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Business Administrator L3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
Future Prospects
This will based on candidates contributions, abilities, competence and commitments.
There could be prospect administration opportunities due to demand and expansion at the end of training/ apprenticeship
