The predicted salary is between 46134 - 56386 £ per year.

Through teamworking and engaging stakeholders, the post holder will support staff to diagnose areas for quality improvement within their services. They will need to be able to present highly complex information to key stakeholders and frontline staff, assist in planning the improvement design and support the implementation of solutions and lead on specific projects.

They will need to negotiate with staff and stakeholders at all levels, using a highly persuasive and motivational approach, showing empathy for different positions, offering reassurance and assurance as appropriate and overcoming barriers to understanding. The post holder will support staff to evaluate any changes made and to ensure improvement is sustainable and, wherever possible, adopted and spread locally.

They will lead and deliver on specific continuous improvement projects as identified by the Trust and provide expert subject matter advice in quality improvement approaches, methodologies, measurement, and evaluation. The role involves working alongside service users and experts by experience as we seek to be fully inclusive with Quality Improvement work.

The successful candidate will be required to teach at a variety of levels of Quality Improvement across many forums and participate in the development of new training material in due course. Establish excellent relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and partners to support delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Participate in national quality improvement forums and bring learning back into the Trust. Support the PSIRF improvement agenda. Produce and communicate project plans with the involvement of stakeholders, including patients and the public where appropriate.

Prepare and present information reports and presentations to a variety of audiences, including patient groups, clinical staff, service managers and varying governance meetings to support the delivery of improvement initiatives. Deliver training to staff across the Trust in Quality Improvement.

Responsible for ensuring that quality improvement approach aligns and supports PSIRF requirements for the Trust and Patient Safety. Responsible for the line management, supervision and appraisal process for the Quality Improvement Facilitator +/- support staff.

Design, organise and facilitate workshops, seminars, presentations and other learning events, as necessary. To demonstrate capabilities to manage own workload and make informed decisions in the absence of required information, working to tight and often changing timescales.

Willingness and capacity to work under limited direction, to structure work effectively and apply initiative and perseverance until results are achieved.
