The Spiritual Care Team is seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Assistant to support the administration, management and quality assurance of Spiritual Care activity across the Trust. The post holder will provide administrative support in relation to data quality, record keeping, audit activity, reporting and information management.

They will assist in maintaining accurate records, monitoring service activity, undertaking quality checks and supporting the production of reports to help ensure compliance with Trust standards and information governance requirements. The successful candidate will have good organisational skills, attention to detail and experience of working with data, records or information systems. They will be required to work independently, prioritise their workload and communicate effectively with a range of staff across the organisation.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the Spiritual Care Service by supporting the collection, management and reporting of service information and quality assurance processes.

  • Support the Spiritual Care Team with the collection, monitoring and reporting of service activity, outcome measures and patient feedback.
  • Undertake quality assurance checks to ensure Spiritual Care records, activity data and outcome information are accurate, complete and compliant with Trust standards.
  • Assist in the production of reports, audits and performance information to support service monitoring, governance and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and manage Spiritual Care records and data, ensuring information is stored, tracked and handled in accordance with Trust policies and information governance requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues, incomplete records and reporting queries, escalating concerns where appropriate.
  • Provide advice and support to staff on data quality, record keeping and reporting processes relating to the Spiritual Care Service.
  • Support the Head of Spiritual Care and Recovery College in developing assurance processes that demonstrate service quality, performance, outcomes and impact.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by identifying trends, highlighting areas for improvement and supporting evidence-based service development.
