Full or part time roles to work across University Hospitals Tees localities. The role of the SPA Clinical Triage Nurse is to receive referrals from a diverse range of people & services, triage the referrals & ensure that they reach the right service in the shortest time. SPA Triage monitor the Health Call system which is utilised by heart failure patients, ensuring that out of range observations are escalated & acted upon. Palcall is a further element of the SPA Triage role; this is a telephone support & signposting service for people deemed to be within their last 12 months of life. This is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service.

Clinical Triage is currently undergoing a horizontal integration of the North Tees & South Tees triage staff, aimed at providing equitable access to the wider locality. South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust have come together to form University Hospitals Tees. As a result, post holders may be required to work across sites within both organisations.
