Salary: Base rate exceeds National Minimum/Living Wage - Bonuses are available too. Wages are negotiable for those suitably qualified, as well as drivers

We have an exciting opportunity to join an organically expanding local business that’s client focussed, friendly, and efficient.

Billingham Gardening Services serves the Tees Valley area and are currently looking to recruit Horticultural Assistants to help with the day to day activities, based out of Billingham.

These activities include maintaining client properties via lawn, hedge, and shrub management.

Other work includes assisting in the erection of Fencing and Decking, conducting Tree work (Felling & Pruning); along with other general horticultural and property maintenance work.

You will be initially working closely with the Horticultural Lead through your training, as well as with other Horticultural Operatives.

You will also be asked to work on your own to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

You will essentially be responsible for ensuring that the properties are maintained to a high standard, and in a safe and professional manner.

Ideally you will be in good physical health as this can be a demanding role, as well as enjoy spending time outdoors.

You must also be willing and open to learn new skills.

Good people skills are essential in this role.
