We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Audit Team Leader to lead the delivery of our call and clinical audit programme across the Integrated Contact Centre (ICC).   • Strong experience in clinical audit, governance, or quality assurance
  • Knowledge of NHS Pathways and urgent care / ambulance operations

  • Passion for improving services and influencing positive change
  • Professional registration (NMC/HCPC) is a must have and relevant qualifications or equivalent experience

About the Role

As Audit Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving excellence in clinical and operational performance. You will:

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and oversight of audit activity across ICC
  • Turn audit insights into actionable learning and measurable improvement
  • Manage and develop a team of clinical and non-clinical auditors
  • Provide expert analysis and reporting to senior leadership and governance forums
  • Ensure compliance with NHS Pathways, national standards, and Trust requirements
  • Represent SCAS at regional and national forums, sharing best practice

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Leading a high-performing audit team and creating a culture of continuous improvement
  • Delivering robust audit programmes that meet quality assurance standards
  • Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through data-driven insights
  • Supporting ICC leaders with performance management and improvement plans
  • Driving learning, development, and capability growth across the team
  • Ensuring compliance with governance frameworks

Corporate Induction

It’s really important for us to ensure you have the best onboarding experience which allows you to feel a sense of belonging from the start. To help with this, we will book your Corporate Induction as soon as we possibly can (depending on availability). All new starters need to attend our Corporate Induction in person, this is held over one and half days from our educational centres based in: Newbury (Berkshire), Bicester (Oxfordshire) or Whiteley (Hampshire). More specific details will be sent to you once your start date has been confirmed. Please note – depending on your role additional training may be required following on from your corporate induction.
