BBS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Benefits Assessment Officer to support the delivery of the DWP Crisis Resilience Fund for our client in Waltham Forest. You will assess and process Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims, including discretionary awards, ensuring decisions are accurate, timely, and well-informed.
You will review evidence, support vulnerable residents, manage a varied caseload, respond to inquiries, and liaise with the DWP and internal teams, while maintaining data.
