Equans is looking for a Compliance Supervisor to join our team on the Wheatley Contract based from Bellshill covering the surrounding area on a permanent basis.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week.

On offer is a salary of £42,517 per annum and in addition you will receive an excellent benefits package.

In this pivotal role, you will act as the key point of contact with our clients on compliance matters, ensuring all statutory requirements and safety standards are rigorously maintained across our service portfolio.

What will you deliver?

  • Manage and review all compliance documentation, certifications, and records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and legislative compliance.
  • Monitor compliance performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Administer and maintain Competent Person (CP) and Authorised Person (AP) registers, keeping appointments up to date.
  • Coordinate and track mandatory E-Learning completion within the engineering team, escalating any non-compliance.
  • Oversee ladder/plant inspection registers and statutory inspection compliance.
  • Manage van/vehicle compliance checks, inspections, and record-keeping.
  • Utilize and administer CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems to manage compliance data.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong communication with clients, internal teams, service partners, and suppliers.
  • Encourage continuous self-development and team improvement.
  • Support agreed deadlines, motivate team members, and work confidently with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota.

Who are we looking for?

  • Practical experience within Mechanical & Electrical, multi-disciplined FM compliance environments.
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety standards.
  • Recognized industry qualification or equivalent relevant experience (IOSH qualification preferred).
  • Asbestos awareness certification.
  • First aid training desirable but not essential.
  • Proven experience with CAFM compliance systems and document control.
  • Strong communicator able to diplomatically deal with demanding clients.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and a team player.
  • Physically fit with a professional, clean, and smart appearance.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Due to the nature of the role, post holder will be required to obtain and maintain Disclosure Scotland to Basic Level.
