This is a new and exciting role supporting the Council’s Parking Services and the continued development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the Borough. We are looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused individual to provide high-quality administrative, technical and project support across parking services, EV charging points, parking equipment and related service systems.
As Parking and Electric Vehicle Technical Officer, you will help monitor EV charging units and parking equipment, coordinate fault reporting and repairs, maintain accurate records, and liaise with contractors, residents, internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure enquiries, records and project documentation are managed efficiently and accurately.
You will support the delivery of EV charging schemes by maintaining project records, processing invoices and purchase orders, supporting income reconciliation, coordinating meetings, monitoring performance data, and preparing reports, summaries and service information to support effective delivery.
The role will involve site visits across the Borough, including access to parking and EV infrastructure locations. A full UK driving licence is required, as the role involves visiting Council sites. Designated car user status applies to this post.
