We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our small friendly nursery.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well being of young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Duties
- Plan and implement age appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Support children's learning through play, exploration, and structured educational activities.
- Ensure the safety and well being of all children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for children and staff.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and daily routines.
- Support colleagues in managing behaviour and fostering positive relationships among children.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to child records, attendance, and activity planning.
- Contribute to the organisation of outings or trips.
- Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, management skills, and leadership within the team.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Demonstrable management or leadership experience within a childcare environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience in organising activities that support child development milestones.
- Previous experience with nursery management or supervising staff is advantageous.
