Our client, a reputable Independent Garage in Bedford, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician looking to advance their career within a well-established business committed to quality service and employee development.

Duties:
- Diagnosing faults accurately using manufacturer standards
- Servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles, mainly cars, with occasional vans
- Conducting MOTs (if MOT Licence held) and recording vehicle conditions comprehensively
- Maintaining current repair and maintenance records
- Ensure safety, reliability, and performance standards are met during all work performed
- Assist in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
Requirements as a Vehicle Technician:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a workshop environment
- Time-served Vehicle Technicians without formal qualifications are welcome to apply
- Valid MOT Licence (desired but not essential)
- Own tools necessary for the role
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude and team-oriented approach
