We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Trailer Fleet Company based in the Bedford area.

The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £44,000 with OTE of circa £54,000.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Trailer Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
  • Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements of this HGV Trailer Technician vacancy

  • Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles.
  • Industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQs).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO).
  • Experience with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST).
  • Tail lift & double-deck maintenance experience.
