Recycling & Waste Services wish to recruit an individual to work as part of the Waste Disposal team to operate Whitehill Transfer Station.
The role of Artic Driver involves hauling municipal waste and recycling bulked at Whitehill Transfer Station to multiple disposal and treatment facilities, mostly located in the central belt.
This post requires a driving licence with Category CE (Class 1/ Artic), a valid driver qualification card (CPC) and driver card (tachograph card).
Experience of driving and operating articulated ejector trailers would be beneficial.
This is a part-time, permanent post which involves working every Monday from 7.30am – 5pm (9 hours paid + 30-minute unpaid break).
