Duties as Cover Supervisor:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Supervising students and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Supporting students with completing set work
- Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson progress and behaviour
- Promoting high standards of attendance, engagement, and conduct
Experience and Skills:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Confident leading a classroom and managing groups of students
- Flexible, organised, and professional approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
