Health and Safety is vital to the organisation, ensuring that staff are supported to carry out their roles safely, minimising risk and sharing best practice. Our client is seeking a Corporate Health and Safety Adviser to join them on a temporary basis, initially for three months, providing cover whilst the role is recruited on a permanent basis. This standalone role supports approximately 675 staff and managers, helping to ensure health and safety remains at the heart of everything they do.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified practitioner and IOSH member to contribute to the continued development and innovation of health and safety practices across the organisation. You will advise staff at all levels and, where appropriate, senior stakeholders on health and safety matters, sharing your expertise through health and safety committees, ensuring policies and procedures reflect current legislation and best practice, and supporting operational activities including training, audits, and site inspections.

The successful candidate will be experienced in managing competing priorities, possess excellent relationship-building, problem-solving and analytical skills, and be a confident communicator with the credibility to act as a trusted health and safety expert.
