Here at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust we are seeking newly qualified or experienced Staff Nurses to join our friendly & dynamic team in our Paediatric Inpatient Unit at our Basildon Hospital site.

We are a large general hospital that cares for the health needs of a large number of service users in a versatile community. We are looking for pro-active and self-motivated Paediatric Nurses who are passionate about delivering high quality patient care.
Working in an inpatient setting can be a challenging but rewarding clinical environment. We are looking for someone who is a good team player and will bring a positive attitude to the Trust with a flexible approach to working. Come and join our fantastic team!
We are a supportive and encouraging department and you will be part of a solid team of paediatric nurses with different levels of experience. This will provide you with the support and camaraderie to make each day a good one. We have a number of band 7 senior sisters working directly within the department as well as a dedicated practice development team which work wholly on enabling you to develop your skills and experiences and facilitate further learning and training.
We receive a wide variety of emergency patients, including trauma, medical, surgical, haematology and oncology admissions. Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and well being of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
We aim to make the most of our skills and experiences so we can become the best we can be. As one organisation we will recruit the finest and retain more specialist staff due to more employment opportunities across our Trust.
