As a Service Unit Manager, you will work alongside the management team and be responsible for managing and developing Cardiology Services across the Broomfield and Tertiary Sites within the MSE. The post holder will be operationally responsible for the day to day running of the service, and will be required to monitor national performance targets specific to ensure they are achieved, and ensure corrective action is taken when necessary.
Monitor medical staffing daily and escape where necessary. Reporting into the General Manager for Cardiology and working closely with the Mid Essex and Basildon DGH service manager, Clinical leads for each site and heads of nursing. You will ensure we deliver high quality services, provide an excellent experience for our patients and meet our regulatory and operational performance targets.
Supported by strong senior leadership teams you will seek, share and drive opportunities to deliver high standards of clinical care whilst ensuring delivery of operational, financial and transformational agenda. You will be intellectually flexible, highly analytical and confident to challenge the status quo while building excellent working relationships that quickly enable you to become a trusted and credible leader across all staff groups.
