As a senior member of the team, your role combines clinical precision with operational support to ensure the smooth running of the service. Your core responsibilities include:
- Perform a comprehensive range of basic and complex respiratory investigations for patients across all hospital wards, including providing critical diagnostic support for critically ill patients in acute settings.
- Work closely with lead clinicians and senior colleagues to facilitate specialist testing, ensuring high standards of data accuracy and patient safety.
- Patient Management: Adapt your communication style to support patients with varying needs, maintaining a calm and professional environment even during high-pressure clinical situations.
- Take a proactive role in assisting the wider department, ensuring that clinical workflows are maintained and that team resources are used effectively.
