We have opportunities to join our warm and friendly team as Healthcare Assistants for our Colne Ward team, which is part of our Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit based at Basildon Hospital.
Our centre cares for patients following Cardiothoracic surgery as well as those undergoing cardiology procedures with a multidisciplinary team approach to caring for our patients which includes nurses, medical staff, physiotherapists, dieticians and HCA's where the team encompasses diverse, multicultural individuals which work throughout the centre.

As our Health Care Assistants (HCA) you will act as members of the care team working under the supervision and guidance of registered nurses and other professional staff. to assist in the delivery of care by providing support to registered staff, patients and their families.
You will achieved this through the performance of specific care tasks carried out after the successful programme of formal training and assessment.
Basic care experience is necessary, as are good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
