Driver Hire is looking to recruit up to two Class 2 Drivers to join our team.

These HGV Class 2 Driver roles are ideal for experienced Class 2 Drivers looking for flexible agency work, holiday and sickness cover, and the opportunity to secure ongoing or temp-to-perm positions.

We are building a pool of inducted Class 2 Drivers who are ready to work when required and support our client with additional driving cover.

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Complete 4–8 deliveries per day to commercial customers.
  • Deliver goods safely and efficiently as a Class 2 Driver.
  • Products are unloaded on site by the customer using a forklift.
  • Use an e POD (Electronic Proof of Delivery) system to manage and complete deliveries.
  • Strap and secure loads before and during transport.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks.
  • Adhere to all transport legislation, compliance procedures, and health and safety standards.
  • Job Requirements
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous Class 2 Driver experience is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Comfortable using handheld devices and e POD systems.
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-focused.
