Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced
TIG Welder to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in
Barnstaple.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled TIG Welder who can hit the ground running and take ownership of the welding function within the business.
The role offers more than just welding, with the opportunity to contribute to
design and development, project meetings and the delivery of high-quality products from concept through to completion.

Key Duties
- Carry out high-quality TIG welding to required specifications and standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical information.
- Take ownership of the welding department and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with the wider production and design teams.
- Contribute ideas during design reviews and project meetings.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Proven TIG welding experience is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Comfortable taking responsibility for the welding side of the business from day one.
