The predicted salary is between 36827 - 45011 £ per year.
Working under the supervision of qualified nursing and medical staff, the post-holder will assist in the care of patients within the department and carry out general duties to enable the effective running of clinics. This will initially include a range of clinical and non-clinical tasks, such as:
- Chaperoning patients during clinical examinations and procedures
- Undertaking venepuncture
- Stocking clinic rooms
- Ordering clinical supplies
- Filing results and entering data
You will have both trust and in-house training and competencies to complete.

If you have previous, related experience and can demonstrate the ability to meet the competencies of the role then you will join further up the salary scale and we will continue to invest in your development as you progress your career with us.
The clinics are based in Barnstaple Heath Centre and surrounding locality areas including Bideford, Holsworthy and Ilfracombe. Applicants for this post need to be able to manage a demanding workload, and have the flexibility to work within the needs of the service, to include some evenings and potential weekend work.
Working Pattern: We are open Monday - Friday 9-5pm for core working hours- there will be some earlier starts (8.30) for clinic set and later finishes for clinic close down (5.30).
