Our client, a reputable and well-established Bodyshop and Accident Repair Centre in Barnstaple, is seeking a dedicated MET Technician to join their professional team. Duties
- Conduct all mechanical and bodywork on assigned vehicle repairs
- Perform dismantling, fault‑finding, and diagnostic work
- Reassemble vehicles using new parts as required
- Carry out inspections and testing to ensure safety and quality standards
- Identify faults or safety issues and recommend necessary repairs
- Road test vehicles safely and legally to verify repairs and roadworthiness
Requirements
- Proven experience as a MET Technician or similar role in a busy workshop
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
