Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced

Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team.

This is a varied, hands-on role involving the handling of large and heavy goods, picking and packing customer orders, operating forklifts and supporting both warehouse operations and local walk-in customers.

Key Duties

  • Pick and pack orders using a handheld PDA.
  • Process orders for walk-in customers.
  • Load and unload deliveries safely.
  • Put stock away and replenish pick faces.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out FIFO stock rotation.
  • Process supplier returns.
  • Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
  • Complete forklift safety checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.
  • Assist with general warehouse maintenance as required.
  • Provide friendly and helpful service to customers.

Requirements

  • Experienced and certified

Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver.

  • Experience handling heavy and palletised goods.
  • Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 points.
  • Computer literate and confident using handheld systems.
  • Reliable with good timekeeping.
  • Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
