Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced
Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving the handling of large and heavy goods, picking and packing customer orders, operating forklifts and supporting both warehouse operations and local walk-in customers.

Key Duties
- Pick and pack orders using a handheld PDA.
- Process orders for walk-in customers.
- Load and unload deliveries safely.
- Put stock away and replenish pick faces.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out FIFO stock rotation.
- Process supplier returns.
- Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
- Complete forklift safety checks and maintain accurate records.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance as required.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to customers.
Requirements
- Experienced and certified
Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver.
- Experience handling heavy and palletised goods.
- Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 points.
- Computer literate and confident using handheld systems.
- Reliable with good timekeeping.
- Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
