Smart Solutions are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to support operations in and around South Yorkshire
We have ad-hoc and full time work available in S75 and are currently expanding our client list to ensure you have work all year round!
Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, including weekends, with a range of start times available throughout the week.
Pay Rates
Monday to Friday
- £17.25 per hour – Starts between 4:00am and 1:00pm
- £19.25 per hour – Starts before 4:00am or after 1:00pm
Saturday
- £20.25 per hour
Sunday
- £23.25 per hour
Shift Availability
- Ad hoc agency shifts
- Work available Monday to Sunday
- Start times ranging from 3:00am to 10:30pm
- Flexible shifts to suit your availability
- Opportunity for regular ongoing work
The Role
As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently while maintaining a professional service at all times.
Your duties will include:
- Delivering goods safely and on time
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations
- Supporting depot operations when required
- Working safely and in line with company procedures
Requirements
- A valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Previous HGV driving experience preferred
- A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
- Good communication and customer service skills
