The purpose of the role will be supporting the Data Analyst and IT Support Officer in all aspects of installing and configurating computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and application problems, either over the phone or in person.
You'll cover one or more areas of expertise by assisting in the production of deliverables for our client's Operations across UK and Ireland, ensuring controls are enforced across the business.
Provide an end-to-end excellent fleet service to the business ensuring that transactional fleet activities are carried out with the agreed KPI's and that a consistent approach is delivered whilst maintaining operational excellence in the most efficient way.
Key Duties
The tasks will be varied and include
- Provide first-line support to users across the business.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Assist with setting up new equipment and user accounts.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks.
- Learn how to document processes and update helpdesk tickets.
- Get involved with IT projects and rollouts.
- Helping to create manuals on accessing servers, logging in to private business networks or using a new software package.
- Providing a record of any support calls.
- Log all repairs to hardware.
- Creating an adequate supply of IT-related stock for a business, such as cables, routers, adapters and any other equipment necessary for the functioning of their systems.
