Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for experienced and passionate Bank Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our award-winning team at The Burren. The Burren is a brand-new purpose-built service location in South Bristol, providing high quality care & supporting residents with varying complex neurological, mental health & dementia care needs provided in a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person's unique strengths and challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a Registered Nurse within the UK with a valid NMC pin (RGN desirable)
- Experience working with adults that present with complex needs including challenging behaviours and mental health needs and brain injury.
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to work alone as well as a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families
- A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
Your Working Pattern
- Day shifts: 07.45 to 20.15
- Night shifts: 19.45 to 8.15
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assessing, planning and evaluating care needs or the provision of care
- Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concerns to managers
- Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants on shift to ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in a comprehensive manner
*Please Note* Due to our training programme, we would require all Bank employees to attend a 3-day induction prior to starting employment. This induction will be paid for and takes place Tuesday to Thursday 9am to 17pm. If you are working another full-time role, please take this into account when applying to the position as this induction is mandatory.
