Spire London East Hospital has an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistants to join the Bank Team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in a variety of hospital settings.
- Undertake routine tasks related to individual's health and well-being.
- Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent.
- Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters.
- Develop own and others' personal development.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others.
- Contribute to the implementation of services.
- Ensure own actions promote quality.
- Promote people's equality, diversity and rights.
- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
Who we're looking for:
- NVQ Health Awards level 3 competence.
- Experience of planning work and acting under own initiative.
- Patient/customer facing experience.
- Working as part of a team.
- Awareness of health safety and hygiene and infection control.
- Possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies.
- Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences.
- Computer literate and trained in Microsoft Office.
- English language to IELTS 7.0.
