The predicted salary is between 19350 - 23650 Β£ per year.

Applications are invited for this temporary (2 months) position in the School of Welsh and Celtic Studies. The duties will include collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative evidence independently regarding the social and economic impact of contemporary Welsh creative literature, contributing to the dissemination of research outcomes, and leading on organising literary events with stakeholders.

Candidates should be educated to PhD standard (or equivalent) and have previous experience with research. Excellent communication skills in Welsh are essential. The successful candidate will be expected to commence 1 October 2026. The ability to communicate in Welsh is absolutely essential for this post. This role is based on Bangor University campus.

Through our Dynamic Working framework there will also be an option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining within the UK) to support work-life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview. Applications will also be considered to fulfil this role on a part-time or job-sharing basis.
