The predicted salary is between 37035 - 45265 £ per year.

Duties will include supervision of undergraduate dental hygiene and dental therapy students and the teaching of dental programmes and assessment of undergraduate dental hygiene students, within the clinical environment.

Candidates should be educated to degree standard in dental therapy and be registered with the General Dental Council. We will consider applicants with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and/or Therapy and a Dental Hygiene qualification only. Previous experience mentoring/supervising dental nurses/hygienists/therapists would be beneficial but not essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor and at clinical placement sites across North Wales. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
