To work as an autonomous practitioner in the multidisciplinary MSK Service within the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, based at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic clinician to join our well-established, innovative team of musculoskeletal physiotherapists. This post is an exciting invitation for anyone who has a special interest in pain management with the opportunity of being involved in multidisciplinary pain team meetings, inpatient ward rounds as well as being involved in the assessment and treatment of those suffering from long-term pain conditions.
The post is based at our main Barnet and Chase Farm sites and will include cross-site working. Patient care will be a mix of Telehealth and face-to-face consultations and will involve extended hours and evening work dependent on demand. The successful candidate will have significant postgraduate experience of working with patients with complex conditions; working within a bio-psychosocial approach on a one-to-one basis as well as within a group context. They will share responsibility for supporting junior and less experienced staff. They will be expected to participate in the teaching and training of more junior staff and other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and passionate and have the motivation to encourage and facilitate best practice. We are looking for an individual who is an excellent communicator, a team player and compassionate at their core.
