Salary: £47,951 - £56,863 per annum inclusive of HCAS
TPHC is an internal NHS consultancy specialising in transformation and change, working across London and nationally. We are a passionate team, proud to be part of the NHS. We work with clients to improve health outcomes, increase access to services, and demonstrate value for money. This is a communications and marketing role at the centre of that work.
You will produce content across a wide range of channels, from internal newsletters and LinkedIn posts to website copy and news articles, working closely with subject matter experts across four business areas spanning digital productivity, data and analytics, learning and organisational development, and large-scale NHS transformation.
On any given week, you might be creating social media for one of our CPD-certified training programmes, reviewing a case study on digital automation in an NHS trust, or working with our teams to plan out our attendance at an upcoming industry event.
We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate equivalent professional experience in place of formal qualifications. Reporting to the Band 8a Communications and Change Management Consultant, you will work in a small communications and marketing team, operating in a matrix environment across many teams and business areas.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Content creation across internal and external channels, including newsletters, news articles, website copy, social media posts, and case studies
- Website management, uploading and maintaining content on our WordPress site (full training provided; prior experience is a bonus)
- Email communications, drafting and distributing internal and external newsletters and updates via Brevo
- Marketing coordination, working with named leads across each directorate to develop and maintain localised marketing plans, and contributing to our overarching corporate marketing strategy
- Horizon scanning, monitoring sector events, awareness days, award opportunities, and relevant developments to inform our forward planning
- Design and social scheduling support, producing graphics in Canva and scheduling content across LinkedIn, Threads, X, Bluesky, and other channels
- Stakeholder coordination, working with subject matter experts across the organisation to gather content inputs, manage timelines, and ensure materials reflect TPHC's voice and standards
TPHC is hosted by Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and based in Camden, close to Mornington Crescent. We offer a hybrid working model; however, given the internal communications dimension of this role, and the collaborative culture we work hard to maintain, office presence is an important part of how the team functions.
Our values are quality, collaboration, learning, and integrity. We recruit from a broad range of sectors and backgrounds, and we are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We actively welcome applications from LGBTQ+ people, people from ethnically diverse communities, disabled people, and people with caring responsibilities.
Staff can get involved in a range of employee-led networks, including our Inclusion Steering Group, Menopause Support Network, Neurodiversity Allies and Advocacy Network, and Wellbeing Matters group. Through our host trust, staff can also join the RFL Women's Network, LGBTQ+ and Friends Network, BAME Staff Network, Disability and Long-Term Conditions Network, Jewish Staff Network, and Flourish Staff Network.
Benefits include:
- an NHS pension
- 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- a cycle to work scheme
- season ticket loan
- flexible working arrangements
- a free employee counselling service
- study leave for sponsored courses
