To support the work of the screening office team by accurate, efficient and timely execution of essential operational activities that support surgical diagnostic and treatment data collection and inputting under the direction of the Data Office Manager and Service Manager - Data.
To liaise closely with other Administration/Data Officers to ensure integration of functions and facilitate providing cover for periods of short-term absence. All Screening Office Administration and Hub Data Officers are expected to develop the knowledge and ability to provide cover for key elements of each other’s work. The specific elements to be covered by each Data Officer will be specified by the Data Office Manager and Service Manager - Data, who will also arrange appropriate training.
The London Breast Screening Programme Hub Data Team collects and inputs surgical breast cancer data for the six breast screening services based in London. Data accuracy and audit are critical performance measures of the NHS Breast Screening Programme.
