Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership & Decision-Making
- Act as a senior point of reference for complex clinical queries and risk-based decision-making.
- Provide real-time advice, second opinions, and support to GPs and the wider MDT.
- Maintain high standards of evidence-based, person-centred care.
- People Management & Workforce Development
- Support appraisal, performance management, and professional development.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing clinical culture.
- Governance, Quality & Safety
- Contribute to and lead elements of clinical governance, incident review, and quality improvement.
- Ensure safe management of results, prescriptions, and clinical workflows across the practice.
- Operational & Service Leadership
- Work closely with operational leads to manage demand, capacity, and service pressures.
- Lead or contribute to service redesign, pathway development, and innovation projects.
- Support day-to-day operational decision-making to ensure safe, effective service delivery.
- Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to practice strategy, workforce planning, and system-level working.
- Build relationships with secondary care, community services, and wider stakeholders.
