Looking for a well-paid Class 1 driving role with regular work and excellent overtime rates? The Best Connection Oxford is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for our prestigious client based in Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work, enjoy enhanced weekend and Bank Holiday pay, and work towards a permanent position with a leading logistics operation.
Pay Rates
- £16.71 per hour - Monday to Friday
- £20.50 per hour - Overtime
- £23.04 per hour - Saturdays
- £28.64 per hour - Sundays
- £27.04 per hour - Bank Holidays
Weekly pay every Friday. Start times between 5:00am and 7:00am. 45-minute break. Opportunity for a permanent position following a successful trial period.
The Role
- Driving a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle for deliveries and collections
- Transporting goods safely, professionally and on time
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time and Road Traffic Regulations
- Providing excellent customer service while representing the business
What We're Looking For
- Valid Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Good knowledge of UK driving legislation
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused
- Excellent time management and communication skills
